Abstract:

There is disclosed in one example an inner loop controller for an aircraft flight computer, including: a stall protection circuit to compute, for an attitude angle .theta., an attitude limit .theta..sub.max as a function of a flight path angle (.gamma.) and an angle of attack limit (.alpha..sub.max); a transfer function circuit to convert .theta. to an attitude rate {dot over (.theta.)}, wherein {dot over (.theta.)} is a time derivative of .theta.; and a load protector circuit to compute a limit on {dot over (.theta.)} ({dot over (.theta.)}.sub.max) as a function of a load factor limit (N.sub.z,max) and a true airspeed (v).
