Provided are carbazole-based host compounds containing a 9-membered ring represented by Formula I ##STR00001## where the variables are defined herein. Also provided are formulations comprising these carbazole-based hosts compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these carbazole-based hosts compounds.
