Abstract:

A compound having a structure of Formula I, ##STR00001## useful as a phosphorescent emitter in organic light emitting devices is disclosed. In Formula I, Ar.sup.1 and Ar.sup.2 are independently 5- or 6-membered aromatic rings; X.sup.1 to X.sup.11 are independently C or N; at least one of X.sup.1 to X.sup.11 is N; one of Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.2 is C, and the other one is N; when Z.sup.1 is N, X.sup.4 is C; L.sup.1, L.sup.2, and L.sup.3 are each linkers; at least one of L.sup.2 and L.sup.3 is present; each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.5, R', and R'' are independently hydrogen or a substituent. Formulations, OLEDs, and consumer products containing the same are also disclosed.
