Abstract:

This invention discloses phosphorescent metal complexes with novel ligand structures of Formula I: ##STR00001## wherein X, Z.sup.1, Z.sup.2, Z.sup.3, rings A and C, R.sup.A, R.sup.B, R.sup.C, and ligand L.sub.A are as described herein. These complexes are used as emitters in phosphorescent OLEDs.
