Abstract:

A composition that includes a first compound where the first compound is capable of functioning as an emitter in an organic light emitting device at room temperature is disclosed. A phosphorescent emitter compound useful in organic light emitting devices is disclosed where the compound has at least one aromatic ring and at least one substituent R, wherein each of the at least one R is directly bonded to one of the aromatic rings, wherein each of the at least one R has the formula of ##STR00001##
