CONTEXTUALIZING THE LOCATION OF A MAPPED POINT OF INTEREST VIA A DYNAMIC PIN

Abstract:

A system and a method are disclosed for directing a user towards a point of interest. A booking accommodation application receives a geolocation of a client device and a point of interest. After determining a route between the geolocation and the point of interest, the booking accommodation application generates a dynamic pin that directs the user towards the point of interest. As the geolocation moves closer to the point of interest, the dynamic pin dynamically changes shape.
