Abstract:

A method and system for treating engine exhaust gas of an engine system is disclosed. The method includes generating ammonia from a urea supply, suppling the ammonia to the engine exhaust gas upstream of a catalyst device, and supplying urea to the engine exhaust gas downstream of the supplying of the ammonia, and downstream of the catalyst device.
