Abstract:

Disclosed are methods of resensitizing a Gram-positive bacterium in a subject to at least one .beta.-lactam antibiotic, comprising co-administering the Gram-positive bacterium with the at least one .beta.-lactam antibiotic and a lysin polypeptide, thereby resensitizing the Gram-positive bacterium in the subject to the at least one .beta.-lactam antibiotic.
