Abstract:

The invention provides a zinc-lysine complex having the formula [Zn(C.sub.6H.sub.14N.sub.2O.sub.2).sub.2Cl].sup.+Cl.sup.- having antibacterial and antiperspirant properties, together with personal care compositions comprising the complex, and methods of making and using these complexes and compositions.
