Abstract:

A computing system includes virtualization servers running virtual machine sessions, and client computing devices grouped by respective enterprises. Each client computing device is operated by an end-user to access an application via a virtual desktop during one of the virtual machine sessions. An analytics server is coupled to the virtualization servers, and collects application usage parameters provided for each client computing device accessing the application during one of the virtual machine sessions, and analyzes the application usage parameters to determine application performance of the application across the client computing devices for each respective enterprise. Client computing devices having slower application performances as compared to application performances of other client computing devices are identified by the analytics server. One of the virtualization servers is instructed to re-provision the virtual hardware for the client computing devices having slower application performances so that application performances are increased.
