REDUCED HAZE COMPOSITIONS FOR COATINGS

Abstract:

Disclosed are polyester resins containing phthalic acids in combination with glycols. The polyester resins are desirable for use in coatings for solvent-borne metal packaging and coil coating applications. Compositions composed of the disclosed polyester resins and non-aqueous solvents remain clear upon visual observation after storage at a temperature of 20-30.degree. C. for at least 120 days.
