Abstract:

A computer-implemented method includes receiving, from a passenger mobile device, a request message indicative of a passenger request for transportation services, determining, based on the request message, an updated estimated wait time (EWT) to accommodate the passenger, determining, based on the first EWT, a probability value indicative of whether the passenger mobile device will send an acceptance of a ride offer for passenger transport, generating, based on the probability value and a reference transportation mode, a price for the ride offer, and sending a proposal message to the passenger mobile device, the proposal message comprising the ride offer, the price for the ride offer, and an itinerary comprising pickup information, and distance information.
