SUPERCRITICAL COOLING SYSTEM

Abstract:

A supercritical cooling system and method increases a pressure of a cooling fluid in a cooling circuit to a pressure above a supercritical pressure of the cooling fluid. The cooling fluid is in a supercritical state at a temperature to which the cooling circuit is exposed. The cooling fluid is moved through the cooling circuit while the cooling fluid is in the supercritical state. A machine is cooled using the cooling fluid in the supercritical state while the cooling fluid moves in the cooling circuit.
