INSULATED GLASS UNITS WITH LOW CTE CENTER PANES

Abstract:

An insulated glass unit includes a first pane, a second pane, and a third pane between the first and second panes, and a first sealed gap space between the first pane and the third pane and a second sealed gap space between the second pane and the third pane. The third pane comprises first glass sheet having a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) over a temperature range 0 to about 300.degree. C. of less than about 70.times.10.sup.-7/.degree. C.
