SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MODEL BASED WIND TURBINE DIAGNOSTICS
Last updated:
Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for providing model-based diagnostics and analytics for wind turbine generators. Methods comprise: obtaining design data of one or more wind turbines, the design data including one or combinations of failure modes and effects analysis, diagrams/schematics for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, software logic diagrams, Interface Control Diagrams, component failure rates, a net list, fault codes, troubleshooting manuals, and/or component costs; and generating a wind turbine model based on the design data by: generating relationship models based on the FMEAs, the component failure rates, and/or the component costs; generating sub-system models based on the diagrams/schematics for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, the software logic diagrams, and/or the ICDs; and logically integrating the sub-system models and the relationship models to form the wind turbine model.
