ENHANCED NEXT GENERATION VEHICLE SERVICES PACKET

Abstract:

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced NGV services packet. A device may generate a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) to be used for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. The device may determine a first portion of the PPDU having one or more legacy fields. The device may determine a second portion of the PPDU having one or more next generation vehicle (NGV) fields. The device may utilize a first frequency bandwidth to send the first portion of the PPDU. The device may utilize a second frequency bandwidth to send the second portion of the PPDU, wherein the first frequency bandwidth and the second frequency bandwidth are at least one of a 10 megahertz (MHz) bandwidth or a 20 MHz bandwidth.
