Abstract:

A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed, which may prevent a crack from occurring on an inorganic film constituting an encapsulation film and prevent a residual film from occurring. The display device comprises a substrate including a display area on which pixels area arranged, and a non-display area surrounding the display area; an encapsulation film covering the display area and including an organic film; a first dam arranged to be in contact with the encapsulation film, having a second side which is an opposite side of a first side facing the organic film and has an inclination smaller than 90.degree.; and a metal pattern pattern-formed on the first dam.
