Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to a display device and a method for driving the display device. Specifically, there may be provided a display device and method for driving the same, which may reduce the signal delay of common voltage and enhance image quality by arranging common voltage lines, which apply common voltage to the display panel, simultaneously along the horizontal and vertical directions.
