Abstract:
Provided is an OLED having an emissive region having a first compound and a second compound where the first compound is capable of energy transfer to the second compound, and capable of functioning as a phosphorescent emitter in an OLED at room temperature. The second compound meets at least one of the following two conditions: (1) the second compound is capable of functioning as a TADF emitter in an OLED at room temperature, and (2) the second compound is capable of functioning as a fluorescent emitter in an OLED at room temperature. The second compound also includes at least one deuterium atom. Also provided is a formulation including the first compound and the second compound. Also disclosed is a premixed co-evaporation source that is a mixture of the first compound and the second compound.
