Provided are multicyclic organic electroluminescent compounds having a ligand L.sub.A of Formula II ##STR00001## Also provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that contain an organic layer comprising these organic electroluminescent compounds. Further provided are formulations comprising these organic electroluminescent compounds.
