Abstract:

A compound of Formula I ##STR00001## wherein Y is selected from the group consisting of NAr, O, S, and Se; Ar is an optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted heteroaryl; and Z.sup.1 to Z.sup.8 are independently selected from C or N, wherein at least one of Z.sup.2 or Z.sup.3 is C, and at least one of Z.sup.6 or Z.sup.7 is C. R is selected from the group consisting of deuterium, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, aryl, heteroaryl, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, and combinations thereof; or optionally R can join with Ar to from a ring; and with the provisios that R is not N-methyl-benzimidazole, and the compound is not compound A.
