Cleaning compositions containing a branched alkyl sulfate surfactant and a short-chain nonionic surfactant

Abstract:

This relates to cleaning compositions containing one or more branched and unethoxylated C.sub.6-C.sub.14 alkyl sulphate anionic surfactants in combination with one or more short-chain nonionic surfactants, which are linear or branched C.sub.4-C.sub.11 alkyl or aryl alkoxylated alcohols. Such cleaning compositions exhibit surprising and unexpected improvement in the sudsing profiles and are particularly suitable for use in hand-washing fabrics.
