Method of manufacturing an abrasive sponge for cleaning

Abstract:

A method of manufacturing an abrasive sponge for cleaning, the method comprising the steps of: a) applying a cross-linking agent comprising one or more cyanoacrylate or isocyanate groups per molecule of crosslinking agent and mixtures thereof on at least a portion of a surface of a foam body comprising a open-cell foam material; and b) curing the cross-linking agent to form an abrasive layer on the at least a portion of the surface of the foam body.
