Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit, to a base station, a request for a cell switch based at least in part on a trigger condition associated with an uplink-only cell switch being satisfied; and perform the uplink-only cell switch based at least in part on a physical-layer or medium-access-control layer inter-cell mobility operation with the base station based at least in part on transmitting the request.
