TRANSMITTING PAYLOADS USING M-SEQUENCES
Last updated:
Abstract:
Aspects relate to technologies and techniques for sequence-based, non-coherent wireless channel transmission of a payload on a physical uplink channel. A transmitter converts information bits of a payload to be transmitted to a decimal integer value that is, in turn, used to generate a modified maximum sequence (m-sequence) based on one or more predetermined parameters such as an m-sequence generating polynomial, a starting location in the sequence, and an initialization. The generated modified m-sequences are modulated using modulation schemes such as .pi./2 binary phase-shift keying and quadrature phase-shift keying for transmission on the physical uplink channel.
