Abstract:

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method of wireless communication includes determining, at a user equipment (UE), that a current data transmission to a network entity is complete. The method further includes transmitting, to the network entity and based on the determination, an indication to terminate a discontinuous reception (DRX) active time assigned to the UE.
