Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive information indicating a switch from using a first set of random access channel (RACH) occasions (ROs) for physical RACH (PRACH) communications to using a second set of ROs for the PRACH communications; and transmit a PRACH communication using an RO, of the second set of ROs, based at least in part on receiving the information indicating the switch.
