TRANSMIT RECEIVE POINT PAIRING INDICATION

Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more transmit receive point (TRP) pairing indications, wherein the one or more TRP pairing indications identify one or more TRPs that have a capability to be paired with one or more neighbor TRPs in a full-duplex communication mode or one or more TRPs that have a capability to be paired with one or more neighbor TRPs in a simultaneous half-duplex multi-TRP (mTRP) communication mode. The UE may transmit, to a base station, a report indicating at least one candidate TRP to be paired in the full-duplex communication mode or the simultaneous half-duplex mTRP communication mode based at least in part on the one or more TRP pairing indications.
