Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from at least one second UE, first control information associated with a first reserved set of resources on a sidelink channel. The first UE may attempt to decode additional control information based at least in part on the first control information. The first UE may transmit, based at least in part on failing to decode the additional control information, a message using the first reserved set of resources. In some aspects, the first UE may determine, based on one or more resource dimensions, at least one first distance between the first UE and the at least one second UE, such that the message is transmitted with a first transmit power based at least in part on the first distance.
