Abstract:

Various examples herein may be used to select scrambling sequences that avoid repetitive sequences that cause high PAPR. In one example, a UE or BS may be configured with a first selected scrambling selection value and a second selected scrambling selection value and perform a DPS between the first selected scrambling selection value and the second selected scrambling selection value based on a DCI bit. In another example, a UE or BS may be configured with a third scrambling selection value and perform the DPS for the third selected scrambling selection value based on the first selected scrambling selection value. In still another example, a UE or BS may be configured with a first selected scrambling selection value, a second selected scrambling selection value, and a third selected scrambling selection value that are one of a first value, a second value, or a third value.
