Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a paging message that indicates a set of resources corresponding to a channel state information (CSI)-reference signal (CSI-RS) associated with a plurality of refined sub-beams of a synchronization signal block (SSB) beam. The UE may transmit, in a transmission associated with a physical random access channel (PRACH), an indication of a selected sub-beam of the plurality of refined sub-beams.
