TECHNIQUES FOR NON-SERVING CELL REPORTING IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS
Last updated:
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a base station indicating a configuration for layer one (L1) measuring and reporting of downlink reference signals received from a non-serving cell. The UE may receive a set of downlink signals (e.g., a set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) or a set of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs)) from a base station associated with the non-serving cell. In response to receiving the downlink reference signals, the UE may determine channel information including of a set of channel metrics based on measuring the downlink reference signals. The UE may then transmit an L1 report to the base station of the serving cell indicating the channel information.
