Selecting physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources for channel state information

Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine a set of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources to be used to transmit a channel state information (CSI) payload based at least in part on a first rank that is independent of a second rank used to construct the CSI payload; and transmit the CSI payload, to a base station (BS), using one or more resources from the set of PUCCH resources.
