Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless communication device may receive, from a second wireless communication device, a set of beamformed reference signals for analog beam training. The first wireless communication device may transmit, to the second wireless communication device, feedback that indicates a first complex correlation coefficient associated with the first wireless communication device that is based at least in part on the set of beamformed reference signals and that represents a phase between a first beamforming vector and a second beamforming vector, and an angle between the first beamforming vector and the second beamforming vector.
