Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability report that indicates which transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state types the UE is able to support when using a sounding reference signal (SRS) as a source reference signal for a TCI state. The UE may receive, from the base station, a configuration for one or more TCI state types for the SRS as the source reference signal based at least in part on transmitting the UE capability report.
