Communicating multiple instances of a message in a random medium access control system

Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiver may receive a first instance of a first message, wherein the first instance of the first message includes an indication of a plurality of resource sets to be used to communicate a corresponding plurality of instances of the first message, wherein each instance, of the plurality of instances, includes a copy of the first message; identify a resource set used to communicate a second instance of the first message based at least in part on the indication; and perform interference cancellation to obtain a second message based at least in part on identifying the resource set used to communicate the second instance of the first message.
