Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a span configuration conflict between two or more span configurations associated with a span pattern for a carrier, wherein the two or more span configurations are associated with respective per-span capabilities for at least one of a quantity of non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) or a quantity of blind decodes to be performed for the carrier; select a span configuration or a per-span capability from the two or more span configurations to be used for the span pattern; and receive a communication on the carrier in accordance with the selected span configuration or the selected per-span capability.
