Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine one or more respective maximum ranks for one or more transmission configuration indicator states of the UE; and transmit information identifying the one or more respective maximum ranks. In some aspects, a base station may receive information identifying one or more respective maximum ranks of a UE for one or more TCI states of the UE; and transmit scheduling information for a communication for the UE, wherein the scheduling information is based at least in part on the one or more respective maximum ranks.
