Abstract:

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a path loss reference signal (PLRS) ready time that indicates an interval after which a PLRS is to be ready for use in performing an uplink power control operation, wherein the PLRS is activated by a downlink control information (DCI) based PLRS activation command; and perform the uplink power control operation, based at least in part on the PLRS, after the PLRS ready time.
