Abstract:

The present technology relates to a communication apparatus and a communication method capable of realizing more reliable communication. Provided is a communication apparatus including a control unit that performs control to use an available frequency channel to transmit a data frame to another communication apparatus, and add, to the data frame, available channel information regarding the frequency channel available for transmitting and receiving a frame. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a wireless LAN system.
