GRANT BASED AND CONFIGURED GRANT BASED PUSCH TRANSMISSIONS IN AN UNLICENSED SPECTRUM

Last updated:

Abstract:

Some embodiments of this disclosure include systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for use in a wireless network for grant based Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission and configured grant based PUSCH transmission in new radio systems operating in an unlicensed spectrum. Some embodiments are directed to a user equipment (UE) that includes processor circuitry and radio circuitry. The processor circuitry can be configured to receive using the radio circuitry, configuration data from a source device associated with a source cell, and determine based on the configuration data, a starting position and ending position for transmitting data in multiple slots in a PUSCH within a shared channel occupancy time (COT), where the starting position depends on a listen before talk (LBT) outcome. The processor circuitry can perform the LBT, and transmit using the radio circuitry, the data at the starting position in an available slot of the COT.
