CONFIGURATION OF GRANT-LESS UPLINK TRANSMISSIONS FOR A USER EQUIPMENT

Abstract:

Technology for a user equipment (UE) operable to decode grant Self-defer less downlink control information (G-D 5 CI) received from a Next Generation NodeB (gNB) is disclosed. The UE can decode the G-DCI received from the gNB in a MulteFire system. The UE can identify grant less uplink DCI components included in the G-DCI. The UE can perform a grant less uplink transmission with the gNB based on the grant less uplink DCI components in the G-DCI received from the gNB.
