SYSTEM FOR AUTHORIZATION AND AUTHENTICATION USING NONCE VALUES AND HASH ALGORITHMS

Abstract:

A system provides user authorization and authentication using nonce values and hash algorithms. In particular, the system may maintain a database of selectively authorized resources to which certain users or devices have authorized access. In this regard, the database may contain unique identifiers that are specifically associated with particular resources. Based on detecting an instance of a unique identifier being used to access a resource, the unique identifier may be dynamically re-written by providing certain inputs into a hash algorithm to produce a re-written identifier, thereby increasing the security of the authorization system.
