Who is insider?
Every director or senior officer, as well as any other entity or individual owning more than 10% of the company’s shares on the stock market, is called an insider. Such people or entities are allowed to buy/sell the company's shares under strictly controlled conditions. Key premise here is that none of them can make trades based on non-public information about the company.
